Q. How do I order a
drawing of my home?
A. The easiest way
is via email. Simply email me to start the process. Visit our Ordering & Pricing page for details.
Q. How long will it take
to get my pen & ink drawing?
A. Generally within a
week to 10 days depending on my work load. I will notify you via email on
when you can expect the drawing. Drawings can be expedited - no extra
charge.
Q. I unfortunately have road
signs and a telephone pole in my yard. Can you eliminate those when you do
the drawing?
A. Yes. Road signs and
telephone poles generally do not enhance a picture, and are easily “erased”
from the view.
Q. You offer multiple sizes of
pictures. What are the actual dimensions of the pictures?
A. The dimensions refer actually
refer to the size of the paper that will fit inside the back of the frame.
An 8 x 10 inch picture denotes that the actual size of the paper is 8 x 10.
The drawing itself is 5x7.

Q. What are the note
cards?

A. I use the completed
the drawing to create note cards as a companion product for the original
artwork. Not too unlike the museum gift shop concept!
(Click
here for an example.)
Q. Will you be sitting
at my home while you create the pen and ink drawing?
A. No. I work off of photographs.
Cold winter days, rainy spring days, and sweltering hot summer days are not
conducive to drawing outside – although warm, sunny autumn is nice. . . but
good photographs work very well.
Q. Will you return my photograph(s)?
A. Absolutely. All customer
photos are returned with the pen & ink drawing.
(Click here for more information on photos.)

Q. I want a pen and ink
of my childhood home, but I only have one copy of it. I'm afraid to send it
in the mail in case it doesn't reach you. What should I do?
A.
Please do NOT
send me your only copy. You can scan the photograph and email the file
to me. Or go to a place like Kinko's where they are able to scan your
photo and give you a file to send me. Better yet, they will make
copies of your photo – just send me a copy.
Q. What if I don't like the drawing?
A. I want you to be completely
satisfied. If you don't like the drawing simply return it and the note
cards and
I will return your money in full.
Q. What is your privacy policy?
A. We will not share with any
company, individual or organization any information about our clients or
subscribers, present or past, without their express written permission.
Q.
Are your drawings copyrighted?
A. Yes.
Q. How can I contact you?
A. I'm
very reachable! I
can be contacted via email, snail mail, or by phone.

Q. What kind of pens to
you use?
A. I use a combination
of quill pens and Rapidograph pens. I find that the Rapidograph pens give
me needed control that a regular quill pen does not. The quill pens offer
better ink coverage as well as enable me to give each drawing its needed
depth.
Q. How long does it take you to do a drawing?
A. Depending upon the size and detail, anywhere between 10 to
30 hours.
